I’m a multidisciplinary artist and fabricator with a background in sculpture, production design, and hands-on fabrication. My work is rooted in material exploration and three-dimensional storytelling, with experience spanning carpentry, welding, stained glass, CAD and digital fabrication, mold-making and casting, soft sculpture, and prop construction. Through both studio practice and film work, I’ve developed a strong eye for detail, spatial design, and creating visually engaging environments. I’m especially drawn to collaborative, fast-paced creative work that blends craftsmanship, problem-solving, and brand-driven visual experiences.

The process behind the project

A look into a few of my fabrication works

Adularescence - For this piece, it’s all about what’s inside. I fabricated this container to hold a custom cut moonstone from a local Austin jeweler. The top serves to mimic the adularescence formed by the elusive layers of the stone. I layered acrylic silhouette engravings of my face onto the 3D printed lid, to enhance the height field created from a grayscale image of my face.

Step Lightly - This brass ring was inspired by ballet shoe ribbons. I wanted to see how I could push the materials I was working with to soften the sturdy feelings we tend to reserve for metal. I put my brass sheets through the rolling mill as many times as it took, in order to receive my desired thickness. Then, I played with a variety of configurations, before soldering my final design.

Constellation Carvings - For these pieces, I was tasked by another artist to create and test files that would engrave and cut out constellation patterns into several different materials, mainly wood, in order to streamline a workflow for his further plans for the pieces. It was imperative that I organize my files as orderly as possible for this. There were many duplicate curves and surfaces to keep track of, especially to ensure efficiency when creating each new constellation design.
